1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website halalscanr.com (the “Site”) or using the HalalScanr WhatsApp-based AI assistant (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately cease use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

To provide proactive travel intelligence, we collect the following types of information:

Contact Information: We collect your email address during website registration and your phone number to facilitate the WhatsApp messaging service.
Real-Time Geolocation: When you share your location via WhatsApp, we process your GPS coordinates to provide immediate “Faith-Ready” arrival briefings (e.g., nearest prayer spaces and Halal dining).
Chat & Query Data: We collect the text of your interactions with our AI assistant to generate relevant recommendations and improve our intelligence engine.
Usage Data: We collect technical data, including IP addresses, browser types, and engagement metrics (such as clicks on sponsored partner listings).

3. Registration and Communication

Pioneer Registration: To access the Service, you must provide a valid email address.
WhatsApp Native Interface: You acknowledge that the Service is delivered via the WhatsApp platform. You are responsible for any data charges or carrier fees incurred while using the Service.
Opt-In: By providing your phone number and initiating a chat, you consent to receive automated messages from HalalScanr, including proactive arrival alerts based on your location.

4. Monetization and Sponsored Content

The Ad-Engine: You acknowledge that HalalScanr operates on a B2B lead-generation model.
Featured Partners: Certain recommendations (marked as “⭐ Featured,” “Sponsored,” or listed at the top of a results list) are paid advertisements. These businesses pay a “Cost-Per-Lead” fee to be prioritized.
Independence: While we strive for high-quality partners, a “Featured” status does not constitute a guarantee of service quality, though we prioritize businesses with verified Halal credentials.

5. AI Disclaimer and Data Accuracy

AI Limitations: HalalScanr uses advanced Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini) to process queries. You acknowledge that AI can occasionally “hallucinate” or provide inaccurate information.
Verification: Users are encouraged to verify prayer times and Halal certifications locally. HalalScanr is a tool for convenience and does not replace the individual responsibility of a traveler to confirm religious compliance.
Mapping: Grounding data from Google Maps and OpenStreetMap is provided “as-is” without warranty of accuracy.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer the HalalScanr AI or bypass its monetization protocol.
Input content into the WhatsApp interface that is abusive, obscene, or violates the religious sensibilities of the community.

7. Intellectual Property

All content; branding, logos (including the HalalScanr mark), and the proprietary “Ad-Engine” logic are the exclusive property of HalalScanr. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without express written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalalScanr shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

Inaccurate prayer times or location data.
Consumption of food at suggested establishments.
Service interruptions on the WhatsApp or Google Cloud platforms.
Decisions made based on AI-generated travel briefings.

9. Modification of Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We may also update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Your continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, for any breach of these Terms and Conditions or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HalalScanr is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
